Leading manufacturer of Energy Saving and PV Solar Products require an exceptional account manager to manage an impressive account portfolio including Social Housing, House Builders Electrical Wholesalers, specialist distributors and major installers in the South. This is a really varied and interesting relationship building sales role where you are tasked with two core responsibilities - account management and securing high valued end-user projects.
Your first remit is to develop the relationship with the distributors and wholesalers to win high valued project led business with major installers and main contractors (for new house building, social housing, LA projects, etc).
Your second remit is to manage the distributors and wholesalers which requires excellent rapport building and communication skills to ensure that your distributors sell your products over competitors. This side of the role also involves training the distributors on new products and training their new members of staff on your product range and its associated features and benefits.

To apply you will simply be the best account manager that you know - able to genuinely build strong business relationships across all levels from trade counter staff to professional procurement personnel. Ideally with previous distribution management experience you will have ideally sold a semi-technical product and be used to working with distributors to achieve maximum sales. Please note that previous experience of selling energy saving or PV products is not required.
