Rare opportunity for a multi-skilled and headstrong Customer Service Manager to join a busy environment where you will be in charge of managing, mentoring and proactively driving customer service. Managing a team of staff covering Europe for a multinational Engineering firm you will be am experienced Customer Service Manager that is used to driving improvements and delivering change. The ideal candidate will have pan-European Customer Service experience and will ideally speak a further language in addition to English.

Due to a strategic restructure this key role takes responsibility for handling all incoming service calls and scheduling staff and resources accordingly. The role also requires handling calls that have escalated and require tactful handling and co-ordinating. Utilising the latest call centre technology this opportunity is not for the faint hearted and will suit the type of individual that's excited at the prospect of a new challenge. Success will be rewarded both financially and with genuine career progression opportunities.

Essential skills must include the recruitment, motivating and management of customer service staff together with setting performance indicators, managing against measures and planning. The company pride themselves on a 'fun' but 'get the job done' environment.

* To apply you must have a successful track record of call centre management or customer service management and ideally have experience of managing an operation that encompasses sales or customer service together with associated resource planning and logistics.
* You will have good IT and planning skills
* You will be a proven people manager with a passion for developing and getting the best out of staff through leading and coaching.
* You will be results and performance driven and used to managing by targets and key performance indicators (and introducing new systems to continuously improve)
* In addition you will have good analytical and reporting skills
