Operations Manager

Aaron Wallis is currently recruiting an Operations Manager for an Insurance business based in Milton Keynes.

In the role of Operations Manager you will report to the Head of Customer Services and be responsible for the Guarantee Fund Claims teams and claims support teams. Other key duties will include:

*Ensuring the operation delivers 1st class third party motor claims handling services in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with the approved business plan.
*Providing leadership, direction and opportunities for development to direct reports and their teams
*Ensuring adequate resources are in place to meet departmental aims and objectives and to develop people to fulfil their potential.
*Providing operational/technical advice where appropriate and ensure high levels of quality are achieved.
*Analysis of claims handling data to identify areas of concern and ensure action plans are put in place to deal with these.
*Overseeing the performance management process to ensure consistency across the business.
*Leading and supporting claims related projects to improve current practices.
*Being aware of the latest changes within claims and be able to benchmark current practices against the industry.

The successful candidate will need to have 5 years min operational management experience managing teams of 50+. You will be degree educated in ideally business management/ administration plus ACII or relevant professional qualifications. Strong analytical and ability to interpret MI and recommend/implement changes is also highly desirable.
